To earn 1.0 CEUs:
- Each Certificant must receive a passing grade of 80 or higher and also complete a 200-word essay which can be found at the end of each course, to be emailed to: essay(at)stress-solutions.com.
- Upon successful completion of all course requirements, Certificants will be able to print out a certificate (In order for your name to appear on the certificate you must enter your first and last name once you register). In order to receive Approved Provider credit for your courses, you must complete all five courses, and e-mail the certificates to certificate(at)stress-solutions.com. You also have the option to mail the certificates (see address below). In either case, the .6 credit Approved Provider certificate will be mailed to you for $10 or e-mailed at no charge.
- Once we receive the five certificates you will be emailed a course evaluation. After we receive your completed evaluation, NBCC certificants will receive a certificate awarding them 2.0 Approved Provider credits.

Certificate of Achievement
Upon satisfactory fulfillment of the course requirements, a certificate of achievement is awarded for successful completion of the course. The course Certificant must achieve a passing score of 80% on the test questions to demonstrate competency, complete the essay, and submit a completed course evaluation.

Biography
For the past 22 years, Robert Lawrence Friedman, MA, author, speaker/trainer and psychotherapist has provided his unique training programs to Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, universities and health care organizations throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Mr. Friedman is the author of the books, "The Healing Power of the Drum," published in 2000, and "How to Relax in 60 Seconds or Less" to be published in July 2010. His expertise in the areas of stress management and teambuilding has led to national and international media attention. In addition, he was featured as a stress management expert in the year-long Discovery Health Channel documentary, "Class of '75," in which he mentored five individuals, including famed golfer Fred Funk. Other appearances have included "The Morning Show on Today" (NBC), "NY One News", "Fox News," "E Television," "The Alive and Wellness Show" (CNBC), along with television shows on Fuji and Sankei Television programs in Japan. He has been interviewed by Cosmopolitan magazine, New York Newsday, Self magazine, and The Washington Times. Mr. Friedman is a professional member of the National Speaker's Association and the American Counseling Association.
Cancellation and Refund Policy

Grievance Policy and Procedures
Participants in any Stress Solutions, Inc. online course have the right to file a grievance. Participants must provide written documentation of the complaint, outline the problem, and indicate the preferred solution. Mail the grievance letter to Stress Solutions, Inc., 66-22 Fleet Street. Suite 3L, Forest Hills, New York 11375. Once the grievance letter is received, Robert L. Friedman and Lynn Levy will review the information, and then respond in writing within 14 days of receipt of the grievance letter. If you disagree with the resolution of the grievance, you have the right to appeal the decision. State the reasons for your appeal in a letter and mail it to Stress Solutions, Inc., 66-22 Fleet Street. Suite 3L, Forest Hills, New York 11375. We will review the appeal and respond in writing within 14 days of receipt of the appeal letter. If the grievance is still not resolved satisfactorily, you have the right to ask NBCC's Continuing Education Committee to address the unresolved grievance.

All information received from our online courses will be treated as confidential information. Stress Solutions, Inc. will protect the legal, professional, and personal rights of all participants. Records, assignments, and written materials will be secured in a locked file cabinet according to the NBCC guidelines. We would like to ask that you please change the names of individuals or mark through names used in any course assignments to ensure confidentiality.
Statement of Relationship:
The Stress Management Training Program is approved by the Certification Board of Music Therapists (CBMT) for 10 Continuing Music Therapy Education credits. Credits awarded by the CBMT are accepted by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Stress Solutions, Inc. (#968) maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.
